Learn more about the German Shorthaired Pointer.
Sadie is a very happy-go-lucky ball of energy who absolutely loves to play. She enjoys running with the other dogs, chewing on her bone, and figuring out how to get treats out of her Kong. She is a silly girl who regularly self-plays by throwing her toys in the air. She sometimes even nonchalantly falls right off the couch while playing. When it's time to settle down, you can find her curled up right on the couch next to you or on her dog bed. This girl loves everyone and other dogs and loves to meet new friends. We think she would do best in a home as an only dog or possibly with another high energy dog that could keep up with her. She is working on her leash skills currently but is very smart and responds well when corrected. She is a fantastic, quiet rider in a car and enjoys the chance to go out in public to experience new sights and smells. We feel Sadie would be best suited for someone who has a lot of time to spend with her or would take her to doggie daycare. We also think that she was previously an outside dog only. She still needs a little bit of work on housetraining but she is doing well. She just needs someone who understands that all of this is new to her and that she is learning. She will make a fantastic pet for someone and will be a loving and loyal companion. Is that person you? All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies. If you have additional questions, we recommend for you to email us at adopt@pawsoftomorrow.dog. All calls go to voicemail, which may take a few days to be returned. We are all volunteers so please bear with us. |
