"Troy is a beautiful 1 and a half year old Australian Shepherd. He is housetrained and very well mannered. He likes the crate, but doesn't need to be in one, because he is just fine when allowed to freely roam around the house by himself. He doesn't get into anything, but does like to sleep on the couch. Troy has had a very sad and hard life thus far, without much stability and definite abuse in his past. This makes him very scared and timid of all people, but mainly men. He is very interested in women and easily warms up to them after a little while. He needs a home with someone who will take time with him, and teach him to trust again and that no one is going to hurt him anymore. Other dogs really bring him out of his shell. He loves to run around outside (very fast !), wrestle, and play tug with any dog willing to play with him. This is what truley makes him smile :) He likes cats too. Despite Troys past and his obvious shyness, he is a very loving dog once he gets to know you and NEVER shows any aggression toward anyone or anything. He has made quite a few strides since being in his foster home and is slowly but surely improving. He just needs that special person with a heart of gold and a lot of patience to give him a forever home."

Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering.  We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies.  If you have additional questions, we recommend for you to email us at adopt@pawsoftomorrow.dog.
