Hogan is the ideal dog for any family. He is house-trained and doesn't need to stay in a kennel ever!! It doesn't get much better than that! He's very mellow and never jumps or licks all over you. He would be perfect for a family with small children for sure.He enjoys running around in the yard but comes to the door and waits to come in when he's had enough exercise. We've been on 3 mile walks and he's still ready to walk further. He would be great for someone looking to have a dog to take on car rides, outdoor events, walks or even running. I wouldn't consider him much of a guard dog as I've noticed he didn't even blink an eye while someone was knocking on the front door but if he was the only dog in the house he may be more alert. We've heard him do his hound dog howl a few times but not very often. The first night he was in his foster home, they left him the kitchen with the cat and he just laid in the floor with him. He's also living with two large dogs who he'll socialize with but he prefers to stay to himself most of the time. I would have to say because of his great behavior he's more of a low maintenance dog. More about HoganGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering. We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies. If you have additional questions, we recommend for you to email us at adopt@pawsoftomorrow.dog. All calls go to voicemail, which may take a few days to be returned. We are all volunteers so please bear with us. |
