River is a very laid back and super sweet girl.  Look at her adorable face and long ears. How could you not love her?  She is 2 years old, only weighs 34lbs, and good with other dogs. Althought we think River would enjoy being an only dog even more.  She does want to chase cats, so we don't recommend her being in a home with a kitty. She is very gentle and takes food very carefully from you. She is great with children. River will need to learn not to jump on things, including the counter.  We are still working on her manners. She is house trained and is doing well on a leash. She also does well in a crate. Please consider giving this girl a home.

We found out when River came to us that she was Heartworm Positive.  We are currently treating her for this and will continue to do so until it is completely gone.  

Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering.  We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies.  If you have additional questions, we recommend for you to email us at adopt@pawsoftomorrow.dog. All calls go to voicemail, which may take a few days to be returned. We are all volunteers so please bear with us.
